TSX Broadway is the redevelopment of a Times Square hotel, and the Rizzo Brookbridge team was engaged by L&L Holding for the code consulting and filing.

The new 550,000-square-foot, 46-story tower incorporates numerous features, including a permanent outdoor stage suspended 30 feet above Times Square, 10 floors of flexible retail/experien7al space and a new luxury hotel.

As part of the redevelopment, the existing 1,700-seat landmarked Palace Theatre will be elevated 30 feet and secured within TSX Broadway’s third floor where it will undergo a complete renovation. The lifting of a historic Times Square theatre and the required updates to the egress and occupancy of the existing theatre presented unique challenges that the team has helped solve for the client.

The redeveloped hotel and theatre will boast the largest food and beverage terrace in Times Square along with several other attractions within the building.
